For people buying for themselves
Wellness desk
Supplements, skincare and health tools are the products where a label can tell you almost everything — if you know which parts to read. This desk covers how to read that label, how to judge a testing claim, how to check a seller before you pay, and what you are realistically entitled to when something goes wrong.

The three questions that decide whether to pay
Almost every bad online purchase involves one of these three questions going unanswered at the moment of payment. None of them take long to resolve.
- Who exactly am I paying? A trading name, a logo and a professional-looking website cost very little to create. A registered company name, a physical address and a verifiable trading history are harder to fake and much more useful.
- What happens if the thing never arrives? Card payments and reputable escrow services give you a dispute route that bank transfers, gift cards and crypto do not. This is the single most important choice in the whole transaction.
- What did I actually agree to? Delivery window, return window, who pays return postage, whether the price includes duty and tax. These are usually written down somewhere — usually on a page nobody reads until something goes wrong.
